Award-winning author, J.T. Bishop, is a writer of mystery thrillers with a supernatural edge. Growing up, she read books by Stephen King, Mary Higgins Clark, and Dean Koontz, devoured every episode of The X-files, and watched plenty of TV shows with great partnerships that left her wanting more. She loves tangled relationships, unexpected twists and turns, heart-stopping love stories and the complications that come with all the above. Throw in a little supernatural fun and she’s hooked. Her evil plan is to hook you, too.
She’s the author of The Red-Line Trilogy and its sister series, The Fletcher Family Saga, which features touches of urban fantasy, light sci-fi, and paranormal romance. She’s also happily writing mystery thrillers featuring two charismatic detectives who may occasionally encounter a supernatural villain or two, and a crossover series which follows the exploits of a gifted, but troubled, paranormal P.I. and his spunky sister.
All the above keeps her busy, but in her spare time, she loves a good movie, tasty food, an unfortunate sugar addiction, and traveling.

J.L. Hancock spent twenty years in the military where he toiled away in the dark corners of the government intelligence communities, learned Korean and Japanese, and conducted over one hundred combat operations with special operations forces in Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Philippines. As the senior enlisted advisor over future concepts and innovation for the Navy special operations community Hancock became a well-known subject matter expert in unmanned systems, 5G, and artificial intelligence. Drawing from a graduate level education in national security studies, foreign language expertise, and experience as a technician embedded with special operations forces, J.L. Hancock writes fiction that reflects the complexities of the modern world. He’s inspired by the many lives he has lived, the worlds he has seen, and the people he’s met along the way. Today, he lives in San Diego, CA with his wife and two daughters.
KJ Sutherland spent several years in Europe as an attorney for the US military, first as an officer and later as a civilian. In addition to practicing international law, she’s prosecuted and defended service members in multiple countries throughout Europe and the UK.
KJ currently lives on the shores of Lake Michigan. Here she can be found weaving her European experiences into thrillers about tenacious lawyers, who invariably find themselves caught between a rock and a hard place. She enjoys adventures at home and abroad with her family, including a deer-headed Chihuahua who has ten times the personality his size. Find out more about her here: https://www.kjsutherlandbooks.com

Christiano Maki is a storyteller with a unique blend of global perspective, rich imagination, and unyielding faith. Born into an internationally diverse family, Christiano’s early years were spent moving between countries like Kuwait, Spain, and the United States, experiences that exposed him to a wealth of cultures and histories. He speaks four languages and has lived across continents, bringing an unparalleled depth to his storytelling.
With an MBA in business management and a background in everything from restaurant ownership to method acting, Christiano is a true Renaissance man. His journey into writing has been years in the making—a culmination of countless life experiences, late-night musings, and a deep sense of purpose. Believers, his debut supernatural thriller, explores the tension between light and darkness, faith and temptation, inspired by the injustices and moral complexities he observes in the world.
Christiano is not an author in the traditional sense, nor does he aspire to be. Instead, he views his writing as a legacy, a way to share his message and leave a lasting impact. His writing style is vivid and immersive, blending poetic prose with a suspenseful narrative, drawing readers into a world where ancient evils and modern ambitions collide. Beyond writing, Christiano is passionate about music, history, and helping others—a calling he sees as central to his life’s purpose. With Believers, he invites readers to question, to feel, and to confront the forces that shape our world.
Alastair Luft writes out of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, where he lives with his wife and two daughters. Alastair’s first book, The Battle Within, was published in 2017. His second novel, Jihadi Bride, comes out on 29 Aug 2019. A graduate of the Royal Military College of Canada, and a 20-year veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces, Alastair is also an accomplished speaker who has presented on how violence begets violence, and the importance of discovering one’s passion.
Regina was raised in Syracuse, New York, where her new suspense novel THE REVENGE PARADOX is set. She spent many happy years exploring the back roads of the Adirondack mountain region, which inspired her small-town revenge thriller, DOWN A BAD ROAD. She recently traded the snowy northern winters for the tropical breezes of the Sunshine State. Her favorite pastimes are kayaking among the mangroves, strolling the sandy beaches, and teaching tricks to her crafty little corgi, Pekoe.
CherAnn Wright is a teacher by day and an author by night. Her love for writing began early, penning dark poetry as a teenager as a way to escape the world. Though her passion for storytelling never faded, it was put on hold for many years. After raising two amazing daughters and sending them off to college, CherAnn finally embraced her dream and wrote her debut novel, Where Secrets Stay.
Her writing style blends dark psychological suspense with a literary edge. CherAnn crafts stories with vivid, atmospheric settings and emotionally charged scenes, featuring flawed, resilient, and deeply human characters. Her narratives delve into themes of trauma, survival, and betrayal, weaving unexpected twists that add depth and intrigue. Drawing inspiration from her own challenging childhood, CherAnn writes about perseverance and strength, often showcasing strong female characters who triumph over fear and adversity.
When she isn’t writing, she spends her time curled up with a good book, or lounging on the sofa with her husband and two dogs.

John Pearce’s work as a journalist in Europe led to his interest in the dark arts of Cold War espionage and its less violent but still dangerous little brother, the push and pull of the west vs the authoritarian remnants of the Soviet Union.
A part-time resident of Paris, he has been an avid lover of the city since the days he reported for the International Herald Tribune from a base in Germany. It was only natural that his new series of thrillers would have their center in Paris, in the form of Eddie Grant, the third in his line of Paris dwellers to serve in the American military, then return to their own lives and businesses in Paris. Eddie’s role was as a company commander of U.S. Special Forces in the First Gulf War, Operation Desert Storm.
Eddie maintains his relations with his college friend and fellow Special Forces officer Icky Grant, now a senior manager in the CIA, for whom he does favors from time to time. His inseparable partner in the series is his wife Aurélie Cabillaud, a stunning six-foot beauty whose day job is as professor of French literature and history at the Sorbonne. Periodically she works as visiting professor at Columbia University in New York.
Sharon Dukett is an award-winning author who writes thrillers and memoir. Her memoir, No Rules, won a gold medal in the Next Generation Indie Book Awards in Memoirs (Historical/Legacy), and was a finalist in several others.
She worked in information technology as a consultant, programmer and project manager in the private sector, and a deputy director in government, where she learned about the infinite possibilities of what could go wrong: a useful insight for thriller writing.
Sharon lives in Connecticut with her husband, within a short driving distance of her children and grandchildren.
S.F. Baumgartner crafts fast-paced Christian suspense thrillers, weaving tales of complex characters, secretive operatives, and relentless agents. Her gripping storytelling has earned acclaim, with Living Secrets—Book 1 of her Mirror Estate series—named a Top Pick in the thriller category at Killer Nashville, 2024. When she’s not plotting her next twist, she’s binge-watching crime TV shows, like NCIS or playing with her cats. Fans of James Patterson’s style, especially those who appreciate short, punchy chapters, will find much to love in her work.
Stephen Bentley is an award-winning author. Of his first true crime novel, UNDERCOVER, screenwriter and novelist, writer of ‘Julie’ BBC Drama, Rob Gittins, said, “The fascinating and extraordinary inside story from the man who was actually there.”
Of his later fiction works, British crime author, Pat MacDonald said, “I knew when I read the author’s first book ‘Undercover: Operation Julie’ although non-fiction that he could make the transition to writing fiction; I was right. He has an ease of language that lends itself to storytelling; he tells it as if he was there in the plot and why shouldn’t he having been an undercover cop in the real world? Not that Steve Regan is meant to be him, but having the experience means he can do whatever he wants with his fictional characters, and they will always be believable.”
Like some other authors, his life experience is broad and unconventional. He spent 30 years in the legal system, first as a detective for 15 years then as barrister plying his trade as “a wig for hire” in London and the English provinces. He was a pioneering undercover cop on Operation Julie and as a barrister defended in trials involving murder, rape, drug importation, other serious crimes and defended soldiers at courts-martial.
He worked in a warehouse. Rode a big motorbike as a London courier. He drove big articulated trucks and taught how to drive them. He also worked as a hospital porter twice. He drove chilled delivery vans in London in the 1990s to fund his law degree and bar school studies. He spent the last two years of his working life driving plant and operating heavy filtration machinery for Europe’s largest water company. His work mates soon recognised his advocacy skills and elected him as their shop steward.
He has now written over twenty books. Two of them have been optioned and in development; one as a TV drama series, and one as a drama doc.

I love my job. Even on the worst day when I can’t seem to put together a coherent sentence, I’m grateful for this magnificent opportunity to tell stories and share them with others. My mother says I was saying I wanted to be a writer when I was seven. I know that seems incredible, but she’s my mom, so we have to believe her. I never missed an opportunity to visit the library, which was blissfully near my home, and the librarians there took a great interest in this nerdy, shy, bespectacled kid who kept reappearing almost every day. They encouraged me to read widely and to read the best of everything. That is exactly what I did and have continued to do all my life.
I love telling stories. I’m super-excited about this new six-book series featuring lawyer Kenzi Rivera, which starts with Splitsville. I started this after I completed another six-book series with lawyer Daniel Pike. His first book is The Last Chance Lawyer and the last is Final Verdict. Several years back I wrote a series of legal thrillers featuring Ben Kincaid, then took some time off to write poetry and young adult and nonfiction books on writing (the Red Sneaker series). It’s fun to be back in the fictional courtroom, with a fresh take and new characters addressing some of the contemporary issues facing our world today.

William Bernhardt (The Last Chance Lawyer) is the author of over fifty books, including the bestselling Daniel Pike and Kenzi Rivera novels, the historical novel Challengers of the Dust, two books of poetry, and the ten Red Sneaker books on fiction writing. In addition, Bernhardt founded the Red Sneaker Writers Center to mentor aspiring writers. The Center hosts an annual writers conference (WriterCon), small-group writing retreats, a newsletter, and a bi-weekly podcast. More than forty of Bernhardt’s students have subsequently published with major houses. He is also the owner of Balkan Press, which publishes poetry and fiction as well as the literary journal Conclave. In 2019, Bernhardt received the Arrell Gibson Lifetime Achievement Award from the Center for the Book.
In addition to his novels and poetry, Bernhardt has written plays, a musical (book and score), humor, children stories, biography, and puzzles. He has edited two anthologies (Legal Briefs and Natural Suspect) as fundraisers for The Nature Conservancy and the Children’s Legal Defense Fund. OSU named him “Oklahoma’s Renaissance Man.” In his spare time, he has enjoyed surfing, digging for dinosaurs, trekking through the Himalayas, paragliding, scuba diving, caving, zip-lining over the canopy of the Costa Rican rain forest, and jumping out of an airplane at 10,000 feet. In 2013, he became a Jeopardy! champion, winning over $20,000. In 2017, when Bernhardt delivered the keynote address at the San Francisco Writers Conference, chairman Michael Larsen noted that in addition to penning novels, Bernhardt can “write a sonnet, play a sonata, plant a garden, try a lawsuit, teach a class, cook a gourmet meal, beat you at Scrabble, and work the New York Times crossword in under five minutes.”
Biba Pearce is a crime writer and author of the Kenzie Gilmore, Dalton Savage and DCI Rob Miller series. Her books have been shortlisted for the Feathered Quill and the CWA Debut Dagger awards, and The Marlow Murders was voted best crime fiction book in the Indie Excellence Book Awards.
