Dean Comyn was born and raised in Calgary, Canada, where he graduated from the Theatre Arts program at Mount Royal University. After about 20 years living/working in the entertainment industry in Canada (as a singer, actor, writer, director, producer and technician in live shows, film & tv), Dean eschewed the life of a starving artist and decided to take a 5-year ‘hiatus’ from Show Biz to travel the world teaching English. Fifteen years later… in Germany, he started writing the Something in the Water series. Book One: Drowning is Comyn’s first novel.
