Diane Winger is a retired software developer who loves to seek outdoor adventures, either close by her western Colorado home or farther afield, using her Aliner camper-trailer as home base. She and her husband, Charlie, enjoy hiking, rock climbing, cross-country skiing, and kayaking, and fill their evenings with reading, writing, playing Scrabble, or planning their next trip.She is an enthusiastic volunteer in their small community, with a particular fondness for literacy-enhancing projects.Diane and Charlie are co-authors of several guidebooks on outdoor recreation.
