My fascination with words began when, as an eight year old, I read the Hobbit by J.R.R Tolkien. The wizardry to me was how the little black marks scrawled on the page, which we call words, were able to create such vivid images in my mind.

I have been an avid reader ever since. Stories to me are much like music; a unifying creative force that transcends any cultural, geological, ethnical or religious differences. Having traveled extensively I have learnt the truth of this, everyone has a story to tell. Add to this the gift of imagination and our stories can take us on an infinite number of journeys, where we can  experience all the potentiality of being human.
